hi there :)
Who am I?
A media technology student specialising in Sound and Music Computing, currently finishing my master's degree at the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) in Stockholm. I've previously studied classical percussion, jazz drums, music production and film studies. Apart from playing, writing and improvising on percussion, piano and guitar, I've been performing with various jazz ensembles and classical orchestras, and worked as a film sound engineer, both on set and with postproduction. In my spare time I like to jam with my friends and produce my own music (here’s a link to my SoundCloud).
During the recent years my work have oriented itself more towards research, in the realms of sound design, signal processing, sonificiation, creative machine learning and human computer interaction. For more details concerning my prior experience and education, please take at look at the projects presented on this site and visit my LinkedIn-page.
I’m skilled in:
- Python
- SuperCollider
- Matlab
- JavaScript
-React
-Pro Tools

What I want to explore
As a sound and music loving nerd, with a diverse experience within sound, music, film-making and research, I now want to continue to explore the areas of sound design, sonification, music technology, sound synthesis, digital sound processing and creative machine learning.
My background in music, film and engineering have given me a broad artistic and scientific perspective – and I would also like to consider myself an easy going person that others enjoy working with.
Don’t hesitate to contact me if you would be interested in a collaboration or if you have any other questions!
Kind regards,
David
